Ingredients:
2 ½ teaspoons minced garlic
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
2-3 dashes hot pepper sauce (optional)
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ pound fresh asparagus, cut into 1-1/2 inch pieces
Salt to taste
⅛ teaspoon pepper
¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
6 oz pasta noodles, cooked and drained
½ pound Italian Sausage, cooked
Directions:
In a skillet, cook garlic, red pepper flakes and hot pepper sauce in oil for 2-3 minutes. Add asparagus, salt and pepper; sauté until asparagus is crisp-tender, about 8-10 minutes. Put in bowl and save for later.
Remove casing from sausage. Cook in skillet over medium-high heat until broken into small pieces and fully cooked.
Add asparagus and Parmesan cheese to skillet; mix well. Pour over hot pasta and toss to coat.
