Ingredients:
4 slices rye/pumpernickel bread
½ lb turkey deli meat
2 slices swiss cheese
⅓ bag coleslaw mix
¼ cup coleslaw sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
Butter or mayo
Thousand Island dressing
Directions:
Prepare bread by spreading butter or mayo on one side of each slice. Set aside for later.
Place large skillet over medium heat. While skillet is heating up, mix coleslaw with sace and set aside for later.
Once skillet is hot, place turkey slices on surface and cook until browned around the edges. Once browned, top with a slice of cheese, allowing cheese to melt slightly.
Next to turkey, place one slice of prepared bread (mayo or butter side down) on surface. Using spatula, place turkey and cheese on top of bread. Place a second slice of bread (mayo or butter side down) next to turkey topped bread and let each piece toast for a few minutes.
Remove from skillet and top with coleslaw and thousand island dressing. Repeat with remaining turkey and cheese. Enjoy!
