Ingredients:
½ Italian sausage
½ yellow onion, chopped
1 carrot stalk
1 celery stalk
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons flour
2 bouillon cubes (+ 2 cups water)
7 oz cheese tortellini
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 cup heavy cream
Directions:
It large pot, cook turkey over medium heat until browned. Transfer sausage to paper towel with slotted spoon, keeping as much grease as possible in pot.
In same pot, add onion, carrot, and celery. Saute for about 5 minutes. Add garlic and saute until fragrant.
Stir in flour until vegetables are completely covered, and slowly add bouillon water. Continue cooking until soup reaches a simmer, then reduce heat to low and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients (including sausage) to pot and simmer until tortellini is fully cooked (about 5 minutes). Enjoy!
